Not-for-profit corporations are required to prepare a myriad of reports depending on their streams of funding. It may be a good idea to have a third party other than your audit firm prepare or at least review what has been prepared by your firm for “check and balance” purposes.
- UFR - This report is required for all organizations who receive funding through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services
- 990/990-EZ/990-N - This report is used for filing the organization’s annual information and is required in one of the aforementioned forms regardless of gross revenue.
- 990-T This report is used to file unrelated business income of the not for profit corporation
- Annual Report - This is a report which is filed each year with the Secretary of State’s Office
- Form PC - This report is required to be filed annually with the Attorney General’s office
- Es cheat/Abandoned Property Report – This report must be filed annually with the State Treasurer’s Office
