Career Source Services
As part of the Massachusetts One-Stop Career
Center System, Career Source offers a number of free services to
job seekers. The centers also assist employers searching for
qualified candidates.
Client Services
- Computer use
- We have seventeen computers with word processing, resume
building, and career exploration software. You can print your
resume and cover letter on a high-quality laser printer.
- Computer lab
- Learn computer and Internet basics in our computer workshops.
We also provide tutorials on the latest office software.
- A multimedia career resource library
- Books on every conceivable job field, recent magazines and
newspapers, CD-ROM directories, and job search videos and
tapes.
- Internet connection for on-line job searching
- If you don't have access to a computer and modem at home, we
get you on-line to search for your next job.
- Free faxes, phone calls, copies
- Communicate professionally with prospective employers.
- Focused workshops
- Networking skills, interview techniques, resume writing, job
search skills, speaker series. and many more. Learn something and
make contact with your fellow job searchers. The schedule is in the
Calendar.
- Meet Employers
- Many employers make presentations to our weekly job clubs and
meet prospective applicants. Career Source also hosts job fairs for
employers looking to fill multiple positions.

- Resume Bank
- We have hundreds of resumes on file categorized by job
description and skill set.
- Job Postings
- Post job openings for free on America's Job Bank and in our
resource room.
- Job Fairs
- Career Source can organize a job fair for your company or an
industry-specific fair for a group of companies.
- Employer's Forum
- The most active job seekers at Career Source participate in
weekly meetings to network and learn about job opportunities.
Presenting to our Employer's forum is a good way to get to know our
job seekers and to make yourself visible as an employer.
